French Macarons Virtual Class – Date, Time

French Macarons Class : LIVE Virtual Class January 30th at 5pm

We help you master the macaron by creating the perfect French macaron dough and then demonstrating essential macaron piping and baking techniques. Then, we will fill our macaron cookies, discuss a variety of filling options, and complete our cookies.

Here’s how it works:

  1. WELCOME TO  CLASS: We are so excited to have you join us for our live class
  2. GET READY: Read through the class workbook (download will be included as a link to your class registration email after checkout).  Have your pre-stream checklist completed before the class.  Step-by-step instructions, recipes, and how-to videos are included!
  3. LET’S BAKE: Live classes are held on this web page.  The Live Class Video will be active and streaming right before the live virtual class begins.  Tune in about 15 minutes before the class starts to make sure you are ready to go, and HAVE FUN!  Have a question?  No problem, just leave a comment and we will have instructors standing by to help you!  If you can’t attend the live class, a recorded video will be available on this page to watch after the live lesson to watch and re-watch anytime you want!

  • Review this web page for all of the instructions, recipe and pre-stream video tutorials
  • Have macaron fillings made, and ingredients measured out (check out the video tutorials below)
  • Make sure I have a good internet connection

PRE-STREAM CHECKLIST

  • Macaron filling(s) made

  • Macaron ingredients measured out & ready to use

  • Piping Bag {Optional: Large Round Tip}

  • Wet paper towel

  • Toothpick or Scribe

  • Scissors

  • Small bowl of warm water

WHAT TOOLS YOU WILL NEED

Here is a list of tools you will need to have ready at home when you take the class:

  • Mixer with whisk attachment

  • Vinegar

  • Rubber Spatula

  • Food coloring of your choice (see below for our signature gel colors)

  • Extract flavor of your choice

  • Parchment paper or silicone baking mats

  • Tipless piping bags

  • Scribe or Toothpicks

INGREDIENT LIST

We’ve compiled a list of ingredients here for the entire class to make it easy to gather your supplies!

PANTRY

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup almond meal (almond flour)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips OR semi-sweet
  • Flavoring of your choice
  • Gel or powder colors of your choice

PERISHABLES

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

OPTIONAL

  • Gel Colors
  • Bakery Emulsions / Flavoring
